1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResuMagic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResuMagic provides AI-powered resume optimization services. Users can:

  • Upload their resume in PDF or DOCX format
  • Paste a job description for analysis
  • Receive a match score and optimization suggestions
  • Download an optimized version of their resume (paid feature)

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Resume analysis and match scoring are provided free of charge
  • Downloading the optimized resume costs $5 (USD) per optimization
  • All payments are processed securely through Paddle
  • Prices are listed in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the legal right to use the resume you upload
  • You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • You understand that AI-generated content should be reviewed before use
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your resume content and any optimized output generated by the Service. We do not claim any rights to your resume or the optimized results.

6. Data Retention

We automatically delete all resume data within 24 hours of processing. We do not permanently store your resume contents. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Limitations

  • Optimized resumes are generated by AI and may require manual review
  • We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or any specific outcomes
  • Download links expire after 24 hours
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ResuMagic be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
